BE AWARE!

WSBN became aware of a fraudulent call made to an APRN in Wyoming on Tuesday Aug. 4 re: his/her Wyoming nursing license. The caller, a male with a foreign accent, provided the APRN license # (license # are public information and can be obtained via Nursys.) The caller indicated he was an investigator with the Wyoming Board of Nursing and insisted the APRN provide his/her cell phone #. The caller was able to utilize our name, Wyoming Board of Nursing and general phone # 307-777-7601 on caller ID.

THIS IS A SCAM: do not give out any personal information to anyone, for any reason.
